Nursing Care

Our Mission

To be recognised as a passionate and committed provider offering care determined by individual needs, in homely accommodation, by caring staff, showing dignity and respect to all our residents. We support each person to live life to the fullest, with dignity, comfort and choice.

Welcome to St Andrew's House

Since 1987, St Andrew's House has been a place where genuine care and family values meet professional nursing expertise. Founded by the same family who still own and lead the home today, we were established with a clear purpose: to provide specialist support for younger adults with significant physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

Over the years, our home has grown to welcome adults of all ages with complex nursing and care needs. Yet our founding principles remain unchanged: every resident is treated as an individual with choices and dignity, and each person is supported to live as fully and independently as possible.

Today, we have built a strong reputation across Lancashire and Yorkshire for person-centred care, innovative partnership working with the NHS, and the warm, family-like atmosphere that defines St Andrew's House.

Our home in the heart of Barnoldswick

Nestled in the centre of Barnoldswick, St Andrew's House puts our residents at the heart of community life. The town's local amenities – shops, cafes, the library, swimming pool and healthcare services – are all within easy reach.

This isn't incidental. We believe residents should remain part of everyday life and community, not isolated within the home. Our team actively supports residents to take part in activities, visits and outings into the town, so Barnoldswick truly becomes an extension of the home.
